As much as I would like to put Kerns under the bus because of how bad this Indians team is I wouldn't say he's the worst center field out there. Now if Sizemore was on this list I would pick him because he has yet to be healthy for what seems forever. But when it's all said and done I would have to say Stubbs. He's have a very lack luster year while the others not playing spectacular seem like they're playing much better. a 243 average and 6 home runs doesn't jump out as a good hitter. My vote Stubbs.

While statistically, Kearns is the weak link, he is young (wait a second...name an Indian who isn't. Russell Branyan. There you go). Victorino has been benched as the Phillies try to find their bats, so I'd have to go with him, even though statistically, he's been great (compared to the other 3...maybe not saying much there).

It was between LaPorta and Gomes for me. Jonny can swing the bat for sure, but his patrol of Great American Ballpark is something nobody should be forced to watch. But I also agree with what Patrick said in that Laporta has somewhat been pushed up at a fast rate to the Majors. A coin flip, and for me, it went with LaPorta.

I also have to go with LaPorta. He's young and has a lot of potential. But he was rushed up to the Majors to get pressure from the fans off the management's back. With some more time in the minors, he could grow a bit more and become a better player. But unfortunately, LaPorta will be one of several Indians on the Null Star Team.

For me it was between LaPorta and Milledge. While Milledge hasn't put up any power numbers, no long balls, LaPorta hasn't done much better with only one dinger and an average just about the Mendoza line. Milledge has the better average and is superior defensively, plus he has a sweet fan club in the left field bleachers in PNC Park...the Milledge People...LaPorta gets my vote /mw

Looking like the Cleveland Crunch will remain the city's most recent champion for now, hah. I'm a soccer fan, but it's kinda sad that a team that does not exist anymore has the last championship the city saw...and more importantly, that few people cared about.

You could be right, CJ. Tough call as to whether Lebron leaves after this year--if they manage to win, does he feel he needs to conquer a new territory (NYC?); if they lose, which seems likely either in this series or the next, does he finally give up on the hometown franchise's ability to get him a Pippen-like sidekick? Personally I think he's likely to stay, wants to stay, but may not want a long-term deal, just one or two years to see what happens. Clearly the Celtics have surprised most experts, but I think the relatively good health of the Big Three, and Rondo's continued emergence as a top-5 point guard, has exposed the Cav's relative weakness, which is their role players. Who was Mo Williams before he came to Cleveland? Andy Varejao, too--and he is definitely not healthy. I suspect LBJ's elbow is at least mildly hurting, because he just doesn't look like himself most games, and it's not clear how much is him and how much is the Celtic's lockdown defense, led by Rondo and KG.
